Healthcare Operations AI Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking experienced healthcare operations professionals to join a 12-week AI training sprint as contract contributors. In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated responses related to healthcare operations, medical coding and billing, utilization management, and related subject matter. You will also design and build challenging, realistic tasks that mirror the complex work of your profession — complete with scenarios, supporting files, and grading rubrics — used to evaluate and improve AI systems. Your work directly shapes the accuracy and reliability of AI tools used by healthcare professionals every day.

This is not a traditional healthcare ops role — no patient care, no shift work, no on-call rotations. Instead, you will be helping build better AI by putting your knowledge to work in a structured, flexible, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to healthcare operations–related prompts for accuracy, clarity, and professional appropriateness
• Annotate and rank model outputs to guide AI training and improvement
• Write clear, expert-level answers to healthcare operations questions that serve as model training examples
• Flag errors, misconceptions, or ambiguous outputs and provide corrective guidance
• Propose, design, and build realistic tasks drawn from your own professional experience — including the scenario and prompt, realistic supporting input files, and a detailed rubric for grading AI performance
• Run your tasks against AI models and iterate based on expert reviewer feedback
• Follow detailed written instructions precisely, including document and upload format requirements
• Maintain consistent quality and throughput throughout the sprint engagement
