Role Overview

Flash Inspector is seeking a visionary Cloud & AI/ML Architect to serve as our lead engineer and product strategist. In this part time, hands-on, high-impact role, you will take full ownership of our cloud-native enterprise SaaS platform. You will oversee the continuous development, deployment, and scaling of our proprietary multi-stage AI pipelines, which transform unstructured video data into actionable fire safety and code compliance insights.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision of a Product Manager with the deep technical execution of a Principal Cloud & AI Engineer. You will own the technology vision, architect serverless GCP infrastructure, and optimize our Agentic RAG ecosystem to drive operational scale for the public safety and property inspection sectors.

This is a growth role in a patented utility system working towards positive societal impact. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for high levels of flexibility, or a fascinating side project outside of their day to day work.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Engineering & Product Strategy (40%)
• Maintain, optimize, and scale an Agentic RAG Ecosystem utilizing text embeddings and Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract safety insights from unstructured video data and map them to relevant safety codes.Drive the product lifecycle and program management, translating market requirements into scalable technical features.
• Establish and execute an MLOps operating cadence to continuously evaluate model accuracy, data lineage, and inference efficiency.
