AI / ML Engineer - AI Trainer

AfterQuery is seeking AI / ML Engineer Experts to build and evaluate the model inference, GPU kernels, and ML systems performance scenarios that frontier AI labs use to test model judgment. In this remote, asynchronous role you will design realistic engineering problems, review how models reason through them, and give detailed feedback that makes the resulting training data trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic model inference, GPU kernels, and ML systems performance tasks drawn from production practice
• Evaluate model responses for correctness, sound reasoning, and subtle failure modes
• Document your reasoning clearly so another engineer can audit the judgement

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in ML engineering, inference optimization, or systems ML
• Familiarity with GPU execution, kernel-level performance, or serving stacks
• Ability to reason precisely about numerical and performance trade-offs
