AI Lead

Overview

Lead the design and delivery of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning solutions that turn complex data into useful insights and dependable products. You’ll guide model development from research and training through evaluation and deployment, while helping teams build scalable systems. Your impact: effective AI implementation helps teams make better-informed decisions and deliver more relevant services to the people who use them.

Duties

• Set technical direction for machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, predictive modeling, and unsupervised learning initiatives.
• Lead statistical modeling, statistical analysis for research, data mining, and machine learning/AI-based analysis; assess models for accuracy, usefulness, and reliability.
• Guide model training, evaluation, and deployment using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and machine learning cloud services, including AWS.
• Design data pipelines and database structures, including extract, transform, and load (ETL), SQL databases, linked data, and big data systems using Hadoop and Spark; oversee Spark implementation and scalability.
• Partner with analytics and data teams using Python, R, SQL, Java, C, SAS, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Looker; explore quantum engineering applications where relevant.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading AI or machine learning work from analysis through implementation and model deployment.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, statistical analysis tools, model evaluation, predictive modeling analysis, and machine learning frameworks.
• Practical familiarity with big data, data analytics, database design, SQL, ETL, and distributed data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and guide cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AWS, TensorFlow, generative AI, linked data, quantum engineering, or Looker is preferred; proficiency across every listed language or tool is not required.

Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
