Your impact We're looking for a mid-level AI Developer with strong software engineering skills, deep proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools, and hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications to support AI solutions across the business for both government and private-sector clients. The ideal candidate will be a skilled software developer who can rapidly build, iterate, and ship AI-powered tools and applications. They should be highly proficient with AI coding assistants (Claude, OpenAI Codex, Cursor), experienced with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration patterns, and comfortable working across the full stack. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a degree in computer science, AI, data science, engineering, or similar domain areas, as well as previous experience in consulting.

The chosen candidate will become a member of the Digital and Data team at Jacobs, helping drive innovation in technical project work for our clients in collaboration with subject matter experts, technologists, engineers, data scientists, project managers, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and tools using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar)
• Build and configure MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and integrations to connect AI models with enterprise data sources, APIs, and tooling
