Type: Part-Time Internship Compensation: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
About the Opportunity
Foundation Strategies and Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated AI Construction & Technology Intern interested in working at the intersection of construction, artificial intelligence, and emerging construction technology.
This is not a traditional construction internship and it is not a software-development position.
We are looking for someone who is curious about how AI can be applied to real-world construction operations, particularly structural concrete, foundations, civil/sitework, grading and excavation, estimating, preconstruction, and project management.
The selected candidate will work directly with an experienced construction professional to explore, develop, test, and improve practical AI-assisted construction workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction technology, architecture, artificial intelligence, or entrepreneurship.
What You’ll Work On
The intern will assist with projects involving

● Structural and civil drawing analysis
● Concrete quantity takeoffs
● Reinforcing-steel scope and quantity review
● Grading and excavation takeoffs
● Earthwork quantity analysis
● Foundation and retaining-wall scope development
● Engineering and geotechnical report analysis
● Construction estimating
● Proposal preparation
● Scope-of-work development
● Constructability reviews
● Identifying missing scope and potential conflicts
● RFI development
● Change-order documentation
● Project correspondence
● Field documentation
● Construction research
● AI prompt and workflow
